Medium Length Hair Cut

Posted by HairLady on Tue, Mar 14th, 2006
Medium Hair Cut Styles are quite versatile, as seen by the photos below. Layered hairstyles can be worn straight, with the help of hair care products, or they can be worn curly. Take a look below at the creative curly hairstyles. Creating these looks will require consultation with your hair stylist. The length of some Medium Hair Styles allows for even greater flexibility by being able to transform hair into a beautiful and stylist updo.

Trends for Medium Hair Cut Styles

Medium Hair cut styles include the addition of bangs. Long bangs, choppy bangs, asymmetrical bangs are being added for increased depth and accentuation of facial features. Bangs are very trendy and are easy to wear. Some cuts will feature bangs that slide and shift as you move, creating a very sexy look. Stylist nationwide are adding the bangs, some which will flatter any face shape (consult with your stylist to determine which bangs will be good for your face shape and hairstyle).

I have incredibly dry, curly hair. Especially when it has dried after a shower, a bath, going pools and the beach. It's a little embarrassing when I go to public venues like that and my hair dries up looking like an afro. It's also very thick; I've gotten it thinned out several times but it always goes back to normal after a few months. When I straighten my hair, it looks fine but you can still tell it's dry and brittle. It's just really irritating, especially in Summer and I just wanted to know if there's anything I can do to help reduce the dryness and give it some more life, shine and all round health. Please help :(

I have dirty blonde thick hair that goes probably down to the middle of my back. I'm getting a hair cut this week and my mom suggest that I get it to shoulder length but I'm scared that itd make me look chubbier. My friends say keep it long, but I'm half and half on the situation. I kinda want a change though in style. Would it be worth it??

i have pretty thick wavy hair, and i love it long (about mid-back) but it is just so hard to take care of and my waves are starting to not be as lively. I'm thinking about cutting it medium length and having bangs but i have super chubby cheeks so im scared my face will just look more fat than it is! help?

You can have bangs just side swept bangs the more weight on the cowlick the less it will stick up. Try it you will love it.        Pensacola,Florida

you can always curl your hair part it differently get choppy layers and thin it out. my hair is kinda long but i love short hair its super cute. also if you have side bangs bring them out or if you dont get them but only if it looks good. because some people cant pull off side bangs. or you could even get long side bangs if your cautious but i like shorter choppy side bangs. i hope this helped

Use a flat iron to straighten the hair and apply some serum to it.

First of all the only time you should comb your hair is when it's wet.
put a leave in cream type of product for curly hair and something for frieze. Now comb to evenly coat your hair with all the products.    Let dry, don't comb...Day two, take a shower don't wash your hair add a lil water with your hard(scrunch) all you want to do is is had back a lil moisture. Hope this helped you... Dawn hairdresser in california

Might sound weird, but stop shampooing your hair. Just use fructis conditioner, a lot, 1/4 cup. Put it all over your hair and scrub your scalp with your nails. Let it sit for 2 min's scrub again, and rinse with hot water. Conditioner will clean your hair and not dry it out, which is what makes curly hair frizzy. You will have to do the conditioner every day, because it isn't as efficient at removing buildup. I haven't put shampoo on my curly hair for over a year and its beautifu. It's really healthy and shiny and it does not break any more.

Do you straighten your hair?
You sound like me when i was in 6th grade 4 years ago.
I had thick curly blonde hair. When i got to 7th grade i complained to my mom that i wanted straight hair. So for Christmas that year she got me a treatment at Hair Cuttery called the 'Relaxer' and it calmed my hair down and made it much less frizzy and thick.
I also use to wear my hair in ponytails. Haha, ask your hair cutter person, ha, to thin out your hair, it gives it some more layers and it will thin in out a little more. Let it grow too!
