Most razor cuts create a great textured look on men's hairstyles, but not all hairstyles suit razor cutting and razored hair is not always a great idea.

Razor haircut is used:

• To blunt the ends.
• To thin the hair.
• To add more shape and texture.

If you're not too careful, using the razor can often make the ends look frizzy and unhealthy and it is not suggested for people with curly hair textures.

Razor cutting can also thin the hair really well. So, it's not a good idea for fine hair types. Razor cuts will, however, suit short to medium straight hair lengths.

So, remember, before you have your hair razored, make sure your hair type is acceptable.
