Melanie stepped out with the casual 'do at the 4th Annual Spirit of Independence Awards and made quite an impression. Her hair was cut to sit on her shoulders and was heavily chipped into on the ends to add texture to her fine locks. To finish, bangs were added and were styled to fall onto her forehead, which is great way to hide a high hairline.

The bangs are what even out her face. The sovergned layers are what give her face length. I think this is an excellent hair cut for her hair type, and head/body type. I also appreciate that she clearly does not style her hair and this cut still works for that, other cuts won't!

she has a very wide jawline, i think she should have gotten a few layers higher up, and added some volume to even out her face.
