Finding the right hairdresser... Personal recommendation is the key to finding the right hairdresser.Ask a family member or friends, if they have got nice hair and if it looks great well I would definitely ask where they have their hair styled.
Another way is too ask neighbours or look around your area, if you like the look of the salon book in a consultation.
The right hairdresser should always do a consultation and they should be free

Communication is the key... You and your hairdresser should always communicate with each other and understand what is going to happen just before your hair is washed.
If it is the first time that you have met with your stylist try to book an appointment on a quieter time of the week so she is not rushed and can spend more time with you.

What you want... describing to your hairdresser what you want is one thing but having a picture or diagram is a much simpler way to have a haircut.
I love it when my clients show me their pictures (it is a book) of hairstyles and colours, it is a great way.
Not to worry if you do not have pictures just be open-minded. Your stylist should consider your face shape, lifestyle and hair texture.

Buying hairstyling products... Your hairstyle needs hair products so invest in a good quality shampoo and conditioner. Bad shampoo is too harsh and cheap conditioner is too greasy on the hair. Ask your stylist about products to take home.

| if u need a haircut just go get one champ, if u explain what u want to the hairdresser they should do it exactly to what u say. i know this because i am a hairdresser myself, taking a picture of the kind of hairstyle u have can also help the hairdresser to follow guides and know what the end result u expect is. good luck hope u find the courage to go.. |
