The haircut is actually cute. I think they only reason why people are bashing is cause she's probably a pre-teen, the makeup and the way she's posing. Other than that, I think it's a cute hairstyle!

So what if she is trying to look older? People choose hair styles to compliment their faces and look, if she wants to look older thats up to her.

But to be honest i dont see how this is too old for her? Its nice but is a pretty simple haircut with feathering. Its not like she has died it or permed it or had i cut into a high maintinace style.
