I need a new haircut rather badly. My hair is really long (about to my mid-back) and it's really thick. It's also straight. If you try to curl it or make it have waves, it will stay for about a half hour or less and then turn back to straight. Oh, yeah, I have a heart-shaped face. So, what would be a good haircut for me? I am looking to not cut my hair that much, I still want to have it be long, cause I like it like that.rnrnAnd if you could include pictures it would be great! If I find the right haircut I need to be able to bring in a picture to the hair dresser :)
Try one of Reese's Witherspoon's hair styles! she has straight hair and middle in length. I have straight, thick black hair and I'm trying out an alteration of Reese Witherspoon and Kristen Stewart's hairstyles. Talk to your hairdresser and show her some pictures and see what he/she says. Hope that helps! Good luck!:))

BOB, BOB, BOB!!! cannot stress how much a bob can do for a heart-shaped face. If you are not to crazy about cutting your hair short, then go for a long bob. Bobs are nothing if not versatile. So, if you want an edgier look, then give your bob sharp, jagged layers. A bob can look great with or without bangs, but I recommend wispy side bangs to balance out your face shape. And go for a side part, down the middle will only emphasis your forehead in an unflattering way.
Good luck!!
