The Perfect Haircut for All Face Shapes
» from Amber-Leigh D on Dec '06 | 8 replies.

Do you believe there are ‘untold secrets’ of the magazine editors? The beauty editors at Allure magazine recently confessed their ‘untold secrets’. One of the most favorites was their claim to the perfect haircut. They're right, this IS the most flattering haircut on almost every face type: a little shaggy & layered.

Here are some tips on how to get it:

  • Layer The key is not to layer too much in back. The best layers are left to the front and are meant to frame the face, but never go above the eye on short hair or above earlobes on long hair.
  • Don't go too long Don't grow your hair more than a few inches above the collarbone.
  • Go for the 'v-shape cut' If you have long hair, get your hair in the back cut in a V-shape.

It allows for extra length without leaving you looking too 'high school', plus it's a classic look for long hair that's universally considered sexy.

I like the V shape and the layers but I definetly DONT like what they put on the length of the hair. The length ususlly tells people about how patient they are with their hair. the more patient you are the longer your hair is and the less patient you are the shorter your hair is.

Good to know layered-shag goes for all shape faces. Very versatile and stylish for all who are classy enough to wear them.
Thanks for the compliments and the chance to express them.
