Happy Mediums

Can’t decide between long or short? Try a mid-length mane-the options are endless!

1. Don’t get stuck in the middle with your mane. Increase the drama with angled layers and dimensional coloring, then flat-iron the fringe for an even edgier look.
2. Keep curls in control with this face-framing style with flat-ironed fringe for contrast. Here, tresses get volume and lift around the crown and through the sides, then taper into the neck.
3. Deep color and defined ends keep this blunt cut bob from looking too severe. To get strands straight and smooth, dry with a paddle brush and then pinch pomade into the ends.
4. Revamp a medium length style with a well-crafted cut that hugs your features. Short sides and long fringe add fullness in front, and beveled ends mean all you have to do is re-shape with a round brush.
5. Round out your style with a ‘60s inspired mod mane. Here, locks are plumped up with lots of volume and then the entire face-framing perimeter is turned under smoothly for a cool, capped look. Baby bangs add edgy appeal.
