The path of the sun crossing the celestial shpere is known as the "ecliptic." Similarly, in the Equinox collection, the path of hair color moves over the head with an emphasis of color placement on the roundness of the head shape and the fringe area.

It is a precision cut that is classic and never goes away, especially if you have straight hair. The shinier the better. Althought I would not color my hair like this, it is totally awesome. Beats the types of cuts that look like a kindergartener did them with her "safty sissors".

Like Randi said, it's for a photo shoot, and also I cut hair, and I know it's very difficult to make such a precise level cut like that. This haircut shows an inner side of creative humanity. And all those who say it's weird just don't have a clue about identity and how who you are outside isn't the only thing that matters, it's what you do with your outsides that make them beautiful. The effort is the thing that counts, but I still think this haircut is very cute.
