EMO Hair Cut
EMO HAIR - the discussion
Hey
friends. Does anyone know how to I suppose "make" or style emo hair?
I'm dislike emo music with a passion but I really like the hairstyle.
Okay, so my hair is thick and doesn't have any curls at all and when it
grows, it grows outward and makes my hair look like a bush. so I keep
it short all the time and that’s a problem because I heard you have to
grow your hair long in order for it to look emo so can someone please
help me? Thanks fellas.
"emo" hair is not a real
style... basically let your hair get long... like down to your nose or
so, then go somewhere and tell them that you want to look EMO, even
though Indie and Hipster kids look the same (kinda just messy hair)
most people like to call it Emo... Although Emo kids do everything from
short buzzed hair all the way up to long locks with highlights in heir
face... I say just do your hair how you like it... if you don't like
the music why would you want to look like the people that play/enjoy
it? seems pretty illogical to me, but it's your life.
Dye it jet black.
Dye it blond in the back.
Gel the front of your hair downwards.
Then take the back/blond part and spike it.
It
looks like you're going to have to find a way to make your hair
thinner/easier to style. Most emo hair tends to just fall straight
down, not really sticking out. I've got me some emo-type hair, so I
guess I should know.

emo.......
everyone has their own definition of it.....so everyone thinks they know what emo is...i think emo is just a label people give themselves because the mood strikes them.....you don't have to cut yourelf or anything gay like that to be emo....you can do everything "emos" are said to do and be totally goth or retro or something....everyone is over reacting on the emo thing....just do what you want and forget everyone else's comments....

emo is not about the hair, the style or what so ever. Emo is a genre. that's it. but people count their selves as emo even though it is a genre but now a days people used to call their selves as emo because of being emotional coz some says that it's a short term for emotional.
emo is about music.
f*** off.

your all losers.
go get a life off ebay that doesnt require talking about emos and all your opinions about them.
grow up.
just to tell you what EMO really is you motherfxckers; because is sounds like you dont know what the **** you are talking about.
ONE-
emo yes is short for emotional however it wasnt ment to be a subculture of emo people . it was emotional music yeah thats right MUSIC expressed in the late 80's but 'Jordan'commented it in the late 90's RONGG!.otep.an emo band originally had their band name as 'emo'but changed it later on to otep &.bacially that band started all this emo ****.but their a good band so :P anywayy..
two-
emo is NOT a haircut or style or whatever you call it. emo hair doesnt really exist your only judging on their hair they have in which as if all emos have the same haircut.because everybody is different..
****ing idoits.
okay got it?
good.
now shut up!

Listen here children. you are all stupid, and you need to shut up. There's no such thing as an emo kid... not for long anyways, bc eventually all of their friends get tired of the crying, and stop talking to them, then they have no friends so they get on aol, and write people in chat rooms. and talk about their problems. After hearing the emo kid talk about how mean their friends are and how life sucks, and people are a** ***** they stop listening and the emo kid wonders why they have no friends, and kill their selves, just to prove their serious, when they weren't truthfully in the beginning, so there can't be an alive emo kid. and there can't be a dead poser emo. There can only be dead emo kids, and live posers.

oh my god...right dudes, there's a thing, you don't need to be emo to have "over eye" hairstyles and you neither have to get "over eye" hairstyle to be emo. and wtf people, emo? emo? this word is scarying the **** outta me guys. wtf? this became a icon for teenagers? that's right, an icon? well I suppose that if it's an icon those fakers [ oh my gosh ] aren't fakers anymore, they just follow the "emo" brand. and dudes, you don't need to say all the time words LIKE "like" and "you know..." and vice-versa.people, get a life. and oh, E-M-O-T-I-O-N-A-L?? absolutely ALL the bands and singers do HAVE at least a song wich is emotional, and doesen't sound like hardcore. this would mean that akon is emo. :). if you have anymore questions, add me, my e-mail is dark6_6emo_6shadows#yahoo.com :).

i think that with any style you should do what you like. the defintion of poser is someone who is a pretender and just to have and emo haircut isnt making you a pretender it just means you thought the hairstyle looked cool so you decided to get it. to make a style your own doesnt make you an emo poser or otherwise and to be quit honest a poser is someone who pretends or lies if you go around saying that your emo but know nothing about emo or the style of music then you are a poser. people get soo idiotic about the defintion of poser. do whatever makes you happy and dont let negative comments bring ya down. do what ya feel. :)

Right first of all whoever wrote this article clearly has no idea what they are talking about, Emo is a state of mind and can also be a way of life. you can have emo hair and clothes and things, but that will not necesarally make you an emo.
You can't just wake up one day and decide to be an emo you need to have the right state of mind, which i feel is emotive as someone said earlier this means that you act on your emotions and do not get told what to do by anyone.
if you are emo and you know it you may happen to like the certain type of music that has been branded as emo by the media, or like the particular style of clothes that too has been branded emo by the media.
i personally would cl****myself as emo and with that i do like the clthes and the music, but what really makes me sick is ignorant D***heads saying that we go round being depressed and slitting our wrists open, these are the people who are the posers because they pose as superior to everybody else and think that tey can tell everyone what they are and who they are so don't fight over stupid things like hair but be strong against others who think they can control you, because remember we are all free. thank you

listen, emo is not really anything.
(i do not consider myself emo)
i dont understand how you can be a "poser"
and be "emo" at the same time cause...
if youre emo...
and you listen to EMO music...
well, i think youre emo and uhhh LISTEN to emo
music.
personal opinions on emo music has nothing
to do with the hair style.
the only thing is if you think you can get the
hair and flaunt as if youre really emo.
i dont have a personal problem with emo's
just people who pretend to be something youre not.
BUT this is a hair website.
everyone's hair is not REALLY who we are
including emo hair, normal hair, braids etc.
it doesnt matter if its emo.
so..
do it if ya like, as long as you dont give a
flying **** what other people say
and you're beliefs are in order.
btw im not sticking around to find out if some
jack****wants to reply to my comment.
im not online battling some weirdo who wants to
bang the crap out of their keyboard to get their
point across.

It doesn't matter if your hair is blond or black. Your hair can be whatever you wnat it to be because it's not really what you look like on the outside that makes you emo. It's a state of mind. So really whoever wrote this doesn't know what the hell they are talking about. And you don't have to be emo to listen to emo music. Emo music is the best kind of music.

emo is yuur own style! yu can't like copy anybody. then yuur like a poser and a wannabe. Just like do what flows. Go a store, get crap and be free, do whatever yuu want. Like nobody else told yuu to cut,it's yuur own choice.

soooooooo.....
all this talk about emo-ness....
and no one has posted pictures of said hairstyles, but i'm pretty sure if you're really emo, you're not going to be posting your emo-ness on the internet, declaring to the cyber world how emo you really are... because real emo kids are off being emo, not talking about it.

first of all,
OMFG!!!!!
whoever wrote this dumb a$$ $hit is a f***ing dumba$$ ! Emo isn't a f***ing haircut it's a social group. I may be emo but i'm not dumb.
second of all, when i hear the words emo and cut in the same sentance, it makes me so f***ing sick.
first of all, just because you cut yourself doesn't mean you're emo and just because people call you emo doesn't mean you cut yourself.
third of all, if you are emo and you know it, all you have to do is be true to yourself, your friends, and your emoness.
LOVE YA

Pro Suggestions For Short Hair Cut Here are some techniques on how to cut your short hair as a professional stylist.
Short Hair Cut Style
Find A Great Hairstylist It is not easy to find the hairstylist who understands exactly what you want to do to your hair. But the following simple tips will help you to get what you want:
A Quick Layered Haircut It takes time, money, and talent to have your hair cut. To save any of these a little, just using an easy technique can give you a quick-layered haircut. This technique can be used on both long and short hair. By short we are speaking about shoulder length or shorter. Long hair would be considered anything longer than that.
Long Layered Hair Cut It's a staple of the stylist's arsenal, and probably the most versatile and basic haircut in history. When you master the circle cut you realize how easily it can be modified to a wide variety of possibilities and looks. A short circle cut is sassy and bouncy, while a long circle cut gives volume to the style.
Medium Length Hair Cut Medium Hair Cut Styles are quite versatile, as seen by the photos below. Layered hairstyles can be worn straight, with the help of hair care products, or they can be worn curly. Take a look below at the creative curly hairstyles. Creating these looks will require consultation with your hair stylist. The length of some Medium Hair Styles allows for even greater flexibility by being able to transform hair into a beautiful and stylist updo.
