Hey
friends. Does anyone know how to I suppose "make" or style emo hair?
I'm dislike emo music with a passion but I really like the hairstyle.
Okay, so my hair is thick and doesn't have any curls at all and when it
grows, it grows outward and makes my hair look like a bush. so I keep
it short all the time and that’s a problem because I heard you have to
grow your hair long in order for it to look emo so can someone please
help me? Thanks fellas.
"emo" hair is not a real
style... basically let your hair get long... like down to your nose or
so, then go somewhere and tell them that you want to look EMO, even
though Indie and Hipster kids look the same (kinda just messy hair)
most people like to call it Emo... Although Emo kids do everything from
short buzzed hair all the way up to long locks with highlights in heir
face... I say just do your hair how you like it... if you don't like
the music why would you want to look like the people that play/enjoy
it? seems pretty illogical to me, but it's your life.
Dye it jet black.
Dye it blond in the back.
Gel the front of your hair downwards.
Then take the back/blond part and spike it.
It
looks like you're going to have to find a way to make your hair
thinner/easier to style. Most emo hair tends to just fall straight
down, not really sticking out. I've got me some emo-type hair, so I
guess I should know.

y do u wnt ur hiar poofy my hair is poofy lik an afro n i try everythin to get it down striaghteners gel everythin my hiars thik im a guy also but i rly lik emo hair style and i wnt to have one but the one im lookin for is all my hair down and straight ive got the frindge but the other bits i crnt control plllz somone help me i rly wnt this style to work for me plllz

Wow, I read all your comments .. and 90% of you are repeating what someone else said or yourself. Why should you define what you are or what it is. There is poser in everything we do. So let them cut their hair.( cause this is what the post was about if you seem to forget ) and if you don't have anything to say to help them , random somewhere else

hmm my hair is long and brown and its got the hair style im just wondering what colour to die it, i want to keep the dark brown but i want to put another colour into my side swept fringe =/

emo is a type of music not a type of person you should all grow up and stop being steriotipical i think "emo" hair ls cool but stop being posers most people think good music like mcr are emo but gerard way also hates this fad

wow... this is quite amazing,i myself have quite sexy hair if i do say so myself ;P, but ARGH! XD its like, emo? gosh i absolutely, *frustration!* its like -
"yah.. i'm soo non-conformist, even though we all look the same... being emo's not all about the look, i am a sensitive soul with low self effing esstemm!! xD"
ok, that outta the way, emo attitude is anoying, be how ever the hell you want. following a trend isn't "posing" as your being who you want to be, and you following a trend is being who you want.
(as long as you do it right ;P).
yeah... sorry about my usless rant xD i just felt i needed to let off some steam!!

For the people that want to cut their own "EMO" hair:
1.Grow it out until it reaches your nose(at least)
2.If you want you can cut your back with a mirror and turn around to your bathroom mirror to cut.
3.Once you have it the length you want get a hair straightner(good ones are 60 dollars or more)
4.You dont need to dye your hair if you dont want. I didnt you can leave it a plain color.
5.Remember you have to cover at least part of a eye if not then both.
Those are my 5 steps to being "EMO" for you guys. Hope it helps if it doesn't then also check YouTube.com for some help. I do it all the time. Good luck.

okay, emo hair doesnt have to be grow out alot...so just cut it anyway u want or go to a stylest..and dyed it black or brown or even blonde and red and get highlights or just a plain color if you get black or a dark color...and usually guys with emo hair have that skater look with the shaggy hair or the flip thing in the front...girls usually medium with side bangs ((i have)) or its short with bottom spikes or you could do it like a guy...now gothic hair is usualy long and black or a solid color or dfferent colors or dark colors with highlights...AND EMos are not really depressed...thats more into the "goth thing" and some r just posers so dont get so "up" about it,...

okay listen you guys i have the emo hair or w/e u wnat to call it and i love it! i think everyone here that is going to judge the hair style shouldnt even be on this site b/c its not fo ru if oyu dont like it okay? my hair is really cool and im about to get it done again. my hair is dark brown with pink and orangish blonde highlights and its short with the layers and im about to get it jet black with purple little checkered thingys or w/e u clal em in it...but anyways im just saying that i dont think its right for pple to come on here running htere mouths if they dopnt like it then leave u kno.... anyways bye!!!!
